Today marks 26 weeks in my pregnancy!  Feeling well and still working full time hours with my patients.

Please call AIM Health Group at (905) 812-0644 if you would like to make an appointment with me before I will be off on maternity leave beginning June (the baby's due date is June 5th).  I am hoping to work into May if all goes well!

Sports First Responder Certification - Family Day Weekend in Ottawa

Wishing everyone a great Family Day from Ottawa, Ontario! (My first jump picture since knee surgery in front of the  Parliament buildings, woo hoo!).

This past weekend I was in Ottawa to take my Sports First Responder certification which is an advanced sports first aid, CPR, and AED course for health care providers working with sports teams.  It was a pleasure meeting some great therapists  and doctors from different parts of Ontario, many working with national teams (such as trampoline, soccer, and Para-olympic men's sledge hockey) and Cirque du Soliel.  Thank you to John Boulay, Certified Athletic Therapist, Paramedic, and Osteopath from Montreal for teaching a very thorough course.

To my colleagues, this is a great certification to take if you are working with sports teams!
