It was such a pleasure meeting up with Canadian Olympic Divers Roseline Filion, Jennifer Abel, and Meaghan Benfeito and their coach (and my former coach!) Arturo Miranda this past weekend at the brand new Pan Am Games Complex and Pool at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC). The Canadian divers, along with a few of the Cuban national divers, were training at the pool in preparation for the upcoming 2015 Pan Am Games.
The Games complex and pool is absolutely beautiful. This new diving facility is a great addition to the Ontario pools and strives to be a training centre to continue to develop high quality diving in Ontario and Canada.
I am wishing the girls much luck as they prepare this year for Pan Am Games and onwards to Rio 2016 Olympics!
